Musical instruments...

I've been learning to play all kinds of instruments. I enrolled at musicworld since grade 5. My first instrument was a Guitar . At first I was hard up because my fingers were too soft for the strings in the guitar. It was hard for me to play different chords. Every time I play, my fingers turns red. It was difficult to change chords. I learned how to play the guitar for almost 2 years. I can play base and lead guitar. I also joined a band when I was in grade six. I was the bassist. We joined a contest(battle of the bands Sn. Fdo City Plaza). It's our first time to join and we won 2nd place. We joined the high school level but we were still grade six then.

I also can play drums. Actually, I auditioned to become the drummer of the juniors. But I was not chosen. I will try again next year.(try and try ). I learned to play drums in musicworld. When I first hold up the drum sticks, I can already play many songs...(talented ang loko). We even joined battle of the bands in UCC,me as the drummer. We lost. (hahahah 30 contestants lahat e)I think music is in my blood. My mother told me my great grandfather can play the piano. He listens to the music then he can already play it. My cousin Miggy is also very good in playing the piano. I will enroll again this summer.

Going to the Gym...

Every Saturday, CM, Adrian, Mark and I are going to the gym. We workout for one hour. We used different kinds of equipment but we are usually lifting barbels. We want to develop our biceps and triceps. Adrian wants to trim down some fats.(haha!) Every sunday, our meeting place is at 711. Usually we were scheduled to meet at 8am but our 8am was to early so we meet at 9am. Then we went to the gym.

There are many pieces of equipment in the gym. My personal favorite is the one where you get to lift barbels while your are lying down. I have started going to the gym before them. On my first try. my body aches that I can't even stretch my arms properly. On their first try, they thought nothing will happen to them because after their first workout they actually felt good. But a day after our workout, Adrian texted me "ang sakit ng katawan ko". Even though our bodies were somewhat tortured every week end,we are coming back for more.

Eventually, after many weeks of returning to the gym. Our bodies don't feel any pain anymore. Last week, I wanted for more repetitions but our gym instructor didn't let us to have some more.

Every time we change our clothes, we always see our body in the mirror.(pang bench body lol ) The effects of going to the gym are not yet evident but we will go back until we're satisfied.

NBA All Star Week End

NBA has celebrated all-star week end in Dallas Texas. In the all-star week end thy have alot of contest to be participated by NBA players. the contest are three-point shootout, skills challenge, and slam- dunk competition.

On the three-point shoot-out contest Paul Pierce of Boston Celtics won. He scored 20 on the final round to get the trophy.

In the Skills challenge, Steve Nash prove that age doesn't matter as he defeat guys who's almost 10 yrs younger than him. It is his second time to win the skills challenge.

In the slam dunk contest, Nate Robinson became the first one to win the title 3 times. He defeat Demar DeRozan in the final round. His last dunk is throw-up to the board and then he reverse slam it. He received 51% of the text votes to win. In my opinion, the best dunk comes from Demar, His dunk with his teammate Weems. Weems thow it on the side of the backboard and Demar caught it and windmill it down. It scored 50 from the judges. That's the only dunk I like from the dunk contest. Nate Robinson brought the Dallas Cowboy's cheer dancers but he didn't even use them as props to his dunk.

Peter students (no classes)

There were no classes because it's city fiesta. Early in the morning I woke up hearing those loud sounds of the drums...I woke up at 7am and all people were out there in the road... I didn't go out to watch. We plan to go to the gym. We should meet 8am at 711 but the parade was still going on. I waited until 9:30 but the parade wasn't finish yet. My friends were already in the gym but I was still at home. Then, I decided to walk my way to the gym. When I arrived, CM and Adrian were already lifting barbels. Immediately, I also get to lifting. Then the gym instructor came and guided us. Our Gym instructor was also our supporter when we lift our barbels. He also points out what equipment to use and he also sets it for us. He pushes us to have more repetitions. I can barely lift those barbels in the latter part. I can only make six or seven repetitions. My left is not as strong as my right. We take turns in using the equipment. Every time, we finish our work out and changes our clothes we always look at ourselves in the mirror saying "tol lumalaki ung muscles ko" or saying "pang bench body".

After our work out, we went to Mian's house on top of a mountain. It's very difficult to get into their house. We have to walk. At first, we walk but when we already see her house, we were so happy we run to the top. When we reached their house we can barely walk. We went upstairs to her room to practice for our dance There are only four members of the group who attended Mian, Rovi, Pat, and Adrian.

This day's schedule C!!! Also our week!

Here in St. Peter's class, we are all rejoicing for our shortened classes. It makes us more happier because it's FRIDAY! Which means, tomorrow is SATURDAY, of course! This week, in St. Peter's class, paper planes are flying everywhere, not only planes but also chalks. Even one of our teachers let us fly paper planes. And if we get bored in flying paper planes, we crumpled it and throw it to..(guess who?) ARDEN!!! Our week is tiring, not only because of playing but also of studying especially during our Chemistry and other subjects involving numbers. (Thank God someone invented the calculator!) Also, we are preparing for the prom. MAPEH subjects are being used to discuss things about the prom. By the way, the prom's next week.

This year, we also have our new adviser.. She goes by the name *drum rolls*... Mrs. Magdalena Evangelista! She changed some rules in our classrooms. For example, if we left something in the room, we will pay Php10.00 per item. (Ouch, never gonna leave my books again) Cleaning groups are also changed and also, the way we clean. Now, there's someone left cleaning even if we have a 5-6 p.m. class. We nearly forgot, Friday's a general cleaning day!
